It seems everyone has noticed the PEG unit! I've got emails from far and wide and it is a beautifully preserved piece but there's little anyone can do with it....except own it. John used to re-lace cartridges for the PEG but even when he started at Streetly they were out of production. T he mechanism involved a self lacing cartridge that was ready and cued for broadcast. A brilliant device for the times. Very BBC in design, very Streetly in build. The BBC promised oodles of orders but that never happened and neither did the wealth it was supposed to create!
