The 2n3055 is a very good power transistor, I need the littl cheap signal type 3 leads. The spec is actually fairly wide. even the number designation doesn't matter. These old things were made of leftover junk.
What I need 2 common pnp Germanium with an Hfe under 60 and one with an Hfe over 140. but NPN may work. I am told I should install sockets and just try parts.
