At work I have a bunch of those Vintech NEVE knock offs and a few Summits. I don't like the Summits.
I also have a ProSonus TubePre!! I use it at least fifty percent of the time. I would give the Prosonus stuff a look. I know a lot of guys in the NY studios who keep s Prosonus strip and also an ART strip in their rack. One friend calls his Prosonus strip his secret weapon....
