Dear god. By ear? I suspect that would be close to impossible. No, I take everything from the score. The only changes I might make thereafter to whatever piece of music it is are in some staccato passages (where our old mate cannot keep up, although the light touch on my Mk V makes it surprisingly good at that) or to change key where there may be (ahem) 'tuning issues' elsewhere.Mike
