I paid $1500 for #510 in 1975, used it for decades
before it was fully restored.
Cosmetically it wasn’t too bad, I painted it, and
despite the CMC-10 it was quite useable.
The restoration by Streetly was very worthwhile, but
quite a long wait, and quadruple the reasonable purchase
price.

Tom, did you buy yours new? I paid $2900 for #500 around '72, which was sold as new. I found out later at Dallas Arbiter in N.J. that it had been on tour, even though it looked new.
