Off topic: Just got my Leslie 147 amp back for my Leslie 145 cabinet. Completely rebuilt except for transformers. It is a beast!! It screams! Much clearer than other leslies I've used. Very excited...

so, in other words-they are perfect when you want that piece of shit sound. certainly not toreplace or be be compared to a mellotron.
