I would probably have a go at rebuilding the switch for myself. if you have done any electronic DIY you can do it, pain in the butt work but if you want original. You could put an led or gow in the housing if you find repairing the switch too daunting.
I would suggest going to Mouser or Digikey rather than a local shop for Parts at least in the US. Farnell or Rapid in the UK.. NKK, Mountain or C&K are the brands of switch I prefer, expensive but very good.
