Hi Fritz,
Must be the week for Hammonds. Just returned from
Cincinnati after purchasing an M103. This was from the original owner who
gave me all the original documents and maintenance records . It was
purchased, are you ready Frank, 9/11/1963 for $1,663.40. That’s
close to $12,500 in today’s dollars. Her Father worked for General
Motors in Springfield, OH and financed for 48 months. It looks and sounds
great. Will pick up Saturday after I find 3 guys to help move it.
Regards,
John

Going
to southern VA next weekend to pick up my newly purchased Hammond M3!!!
Only two owners, only moved twice and its current owner is a piano and organ
tech/hammond wiz. The first owner was the proverbial little old lady who played
it on Sundays for her church group. Don't know the exact age, but we'll
find out. It has the Leslie interface installed and comes with a spare
preamp and tube set. My Leslie 145 is fully functioning but going through a
cabinet restoration. My wife thinks I'm crazy. Wait till she hears this
thing cranked.
