It's worth it mostly because the recordings are all first (or close) generation, and not filtered through 10 cassette to cassette transferred versions.

I got the 2 CD version. The big box was just too much.

Talking of which, I now have 'The SMiLE Sessions' as of two days ago. I think I've played it through about 8 times now. :-)
