CALL FOR NEW CUSTOM PANEL DESIGN CANDIDATES

CALL FOR NEW CUSTOM PANEL DESIGN CANDIDATES

2001-01-25 by Dave Bradley

Come one, come all...

Email me your nominations for candidates for the next round of custom
panels. Here's how I plan to conduct this:

1. Email me with suggestions for new panel designs you'd like to see in the
next panel run. To keep things under control, just send me your top 3
choices. Don't tell me about things like the DarkStar which we have already
done. Those designs will continue to be available when it's time to order
panels. Tell me about stuff you'd want soon, not 6 months down the road.

2. Be somewhat specific - for instance, the Oakley SuperLadder could well be
designed as a 2U or a 3U wide panel. The Oakley Little LFO could be done as
a triple LFO on 2U, or as a single 1U, etc. If you have a preference, speak
up. It doesn't have to just be Oakley, either.

3. These are just nominations for the list - anyone can participate. I'll
cull it down to the top 10 suggestions. Later, I'll ask for another vote,
but this second vote will be for the purpose of selecting the final 4, and
I'll ask those people to vote only who are prepared to buy.

4. I'll let this run for about a week, then the polls will be closed! EMAIL
ME PRIVATELY, let's not clog up the list. Besides, it's easier for me to
keep track of that way.

5. Count on 3-6 weeks before we ask you for any money. I'll have designs on
the web before that.

Bring it on!

The Expressionist breakout panel has already been done. 12 satisfied
customers already have it. You need to check my site out.

Also, be sure and email your wishes to me PRIVATELY, cause that's how
I'm keeping track.

Put my vote in for the Oakley Super Ladder .

Also , for those using the Expressionist, maybe a breakout panel might be
interesting.

Maybe even the Oakley TB303

Hi all,

single 1U, etc.

Before requesting panels for this, please bear in mind, that this board
is no longer in production. He can be re-incarnated if enough people
want him... but not until April.

And for Mark: The TB3030 is unlikely to fit in a MOTM synth. The PCB is
far deeper than any other MOTM PCB. Although you could possibly get it
to fit the panel height.
