All this talk of patch panels has me dreaming of a panel kinda
like a VSC3 but where the connections between two points are
momentary & based on finger pressure - possibly using an array of
FSR.
Obviously this would be impractical for many purposes but could
prove to be interesting for some performance situations.

I guess one could wire a panel with switches where everything
could concieveably be patched to everything else. Ya' know - like
the ultimate reality...

An all purpose controller device would be nice - like Tentochi
describes - Joysticks, triggers a ribbon or two - maybe a
touch-pad like a Buchla Music Easel...
