ID this IC?

ID this IC?

1999-06-21 by Dave Bradley

Can anyone identify a 14 pin dip marked 3821N and 7337? I need a pinout!
It's in my Moog 1150 ribbon controller.

What voltage does it take on pin 14?

Best place to look

www.icmaster.com

It's too old to be there. I will say 7337 is the date code (37th week of
1973).

What elses is on the chip? Logo? A service manual would help!!

The only other markings are the "3821N" and a big block "S", if I remember
right probably the Signetics logo.

That is correct, Signetics it is.

Suggest: just ask Dr. Bob directly!

Hi All !

From an 1982 ic master :) :

SG3821 Silicon General differential pair and three npn transistors

no other info, this heading lists a slew of other ic's, no clue as to
their compatibility .

Hope this helps .

Bye .

Keep 'em oscillating :)

AHA!

Hugo is correct. This is an "upgrade" to a LM3046! Pin-fo-pin. It is
mentioned deep
within early Electronotes (around #20 or so)
