Here is a MOTM-110 VCA under same conditions. The vertical scale is really
200mv/div
(not 20mv/div, I used a different probe). The 'noise' on the signal is due
to the scope's
8-bit AD converters (it does sample at 2G/sec!).

Hmmm...maybe I need to charge $600?

I second the need for exponential control.

Switched, separate inputs, continuously varible from lin to expo, 
or VC response?

I like Larry's pan/fade ideas, too.
