MOTM

There was a post to AH over the weekend with a web page link to a guy who is
publishing what looks like the 1977 version of the Emu technical catalog
online. A lot of stuff like the sequencer system is incomplete yet, but all
the basic VCO, VCF, Env and VCA modules are present.

I had planned to do this myself someday as I have a 78 manual, but I will
now defer to this site. I post this to MOTM because most of you know that I
am an Emu fanatic. I consider the feature set and the panel layouts to be
among the most elegant ever designed. A lot of my feature requests for MOTM
modules come from old Emu features.

After the modular sequencer stuff gets online, I expect to steal some more
ideas for MOAS!

If anyone in the NYC area has yet to see an E-mu modular, Dr. Sound has one
on display (and on sale for what is most likely a ridiculous price). They're
in Manhattan, on Mercer just north of Canal. They are very, very beautiful.

Trust me. As a former E-Mu Modular owner. The MOTM modules are far superior
to the E-Mu modules in construction and in sound.
