MOTM

All,
  Tried that low pass FM patch suggested on AH for getting vaguely vocal 
vowely sonds.. it worked ok I guess... more tweaking is needed.  But the cool 
thing was was that when I was tuning my osc(s) to the required interval (3 
octaves and a fifth) I used a digital keyboard as my refrence.  I had my MOTM 
through headphones and the keyboard through an amp..  I was surprised to hear 
the frequencies beating against eachother when I was getting close.  I didn't 
think I would hear it when the sounds weren't coming from the same place. 
Cool..  The sad thing is though that I destroyed a patch I had been working 
on for a day or two to set this one up, and the previous patch was much 
cooler!  Instead of the vaguely vowely sounds I'm now hearing,  the previous 
patch had my MOTM saying "Yeah yeah yeah"..   gotta love that 410!!!
