The Multiple/attenuator was done with the press-on lettering (i.e., paint the panel, drop on the lettering (carefully, please) and clear coat the whole mess afterward. Looks OK, simple and easy to do. The Roctave Divider is a paper overlay. I used a whole page-sized Avery peel -n- stick label, printed the graphic on the label page, cut the page down to the right size, painted the panel black (so that there wouldn't be non-painted edges showing), slapped the label on (not terribly fun to get it right) and then clear coated. This was mostly an experiment to see how much of a mess it would be to do-- the graphic was borrowed from the .JPG of the 800 EG, with new text created in Paint Shop to attempt to match the 800 text. The registration of the 'input' and 'output' legends and lines with the jacks is off, but I made the mistake of not drilling the panel using a first/junk label as a template. Ooops. The Oakley ladder filter has a Schaeffer panel... (http://www.schaeffer-apparatebau.de/ and go to Frontplatten Designer) with engraved legends on an anodized plate. I did not make this (hah, well, no, Schaeffer did, silly), but actually bought one of Tony Allgood's prototypes completely built & operational, with the panel. Frank
