I have both. Both are very well done. The filter is great. I don't believe
the motm filters, though great, do not accurately copy a Moog sound.
(I built the Moog Ladder version). Tony did a fantastic job with this
filter. Wave folder is a good module if you like to really mess up (in
a good way) CVs or waveforms. If you are careful in building them Tony's
boards give no problems on powerup.

If I remember correctly, Paul has a 4 pole "moog-like" diode ladder
filter planed for the future, but how far off I do not know. I myself
love the 420 and 440, but it's not time to retire that moog source
yet.
I just can't get that ladder filter sound with the 12db or OTA
filters.

hello all,
i haven't got the ladder filter, but i have a wavefolder - it's very
different from an "ordinary" filter, it's amazing for processing drum loops,
or you can use it as a kind of voltage controlled distortion, or you can
stick it over an LFO and use it to process some great filter sweeps -
amazing fun....
