LD justs wants me to send his modules on back-order.

Besides, everyone knows a used 8-track store is more profitable.

Funny. Today, I found an Electronic Musician from feb 1987 that has an
article on how to transform a slide potentiometer into a ribbom controller.
Really simple. The hardest part would be figuring out what material should
cover it (eg: vinyl). Anyone seen this before or tried it?

Check out Wendy Carlos' Circon, as used on the "Tales from Heaven & Hell"
album. It's basically a big potentiometer with an arrow attached to it with
a semi-circular keyboard graphic for positioning. It was her 'Theremin
without the guesswork' solution for eerie glissandi.

I recently ordered a Minimoog Ribbon and Mod Wheel assembly from http://www.madbbs.com/~fmcniff/parts.htm It is a bit of a leap of faith but I thought it would be
cool to mount it in a MOTM 2U panel. I am sure there will be some additional modifications needed. I should receive it soon. I will post the results. Regards,
Charles.
