List OK? Help

List OK? Help

2000-06-28 by thomas white

I haven't got any MOTM list messages for some time now. Is the list OK or
did I get dropped or something? I even posted a message of my own I never
recieved. Hmmmm,

thomas,
seems to be working okay here. in fact, i recieved the post you made with the
favorable quote from mr. arrick about mr. schreiber. it prompted me to go to
the ah mail archives and look through the postings for any commentary about
mr. arricks company and after reviewing all of may, i didn`t see anything. if
there is anything in june, well, the archive didn`t show anything for june
yet. may was most recent month.
anyway, FWIW, your messages are moving through the aether.......
best,
dave v.

You must be using the AH archives at Hyperreal. To put it nicely, they SUCK!

Mark Pulver's are much much better:
http://www.midiwall.com/archives/ah/

just put:
synthesizers.com
in the "Search For" box and you'll get plenty of results ...

doug,
i believe that this was the one. the other site seems to require something (
java, javascript, ??? ) that my browser doesn`t have. the site loads but
simply doesn`t do anything or respond in any way. ah, well, such are the
pains of using ie3 on win3.1 on an aging 486 !
pity as it would have been intersting to review. i must, shamefully, admit
that i don`t subscribe to "a.h.", i just go browse the archives occasionally.
best,
dave v.

There is no "shame" in not subscribing to AH.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
