Or depending on your wife, one knob. I bought my MG-1 for $30 about 4 years
ago and I think they are realistically (no pun intended) worth about $75
or$100. Maybe you can get $350 for it. As I said before, maybe that is
only one knob on the cabinet...

Maybe I shouldn't be making comments on price. Desire to buy things is what
gives them value. I would love to have an MS-20 and am will to pay much
more than it is worth IMVNSHO.

If you are going to buy the MG-1, Paul is probably the best person in the
world to buy it from. Who else but the "designer" would you want to
overhaul your very own piece of history! Just make sure to get a letter of
authenticity (ownership?) or something like that from him. ;-) Ha!

Paul, did you post on AH and Synth DIY too?

It is already at $290 with 4 1/2 days left. I think my original estimate
might be a little low now. And furthermore, it looks like Paul took this
picture on the floor of his present kitchen? Strange connection??? You be
the judge.

Make sure to check out the link...

Own a piece of history!

Here is one of 2 MG-1s I'm selling off. My buddy Steve is running the
bidding.

I'm keeping one and selling one. Wife wants the space and new kitchen
cabinets. This should pay for 1 door.

A review of past eBay auctions indicates that they are going for $250-$395.

Wow... I almost bought one of these as my 1st synth!!! They had one on
display at the local Radio Shack so it was also the 1st synth I had ever
touched and played!!! I was heavy into Guitar at the time and just starting
to pick up an interest in electronic music!!! (The album Spartacus by
Triumverat was the key album that got me started into Electronic music) But
it was a few more years before I picked up my 1st synth, a Prophet 600
(sorry I ever sold it)!!! It's kind of ironic that here I am many years
later building a Modular disigned by the same guy who designed the 1st synth
I ever layed hands on!!! Thanks Paul!!!
