AH archives have been down for 3 days, I have no MOTM messages since
yesterday afternoon, is anybody out there?

Weird. I sent some out early this morning and the made it back to me on the
list. But I've sent messages out before and never seen them again.

Hi Dave!

I'm here. The only MOTM news I have is that my system is still in the living
room of where I had my birthday party, about a block away. I've been
MOTM-less for a couple of weeks now. The withdrawal is painful, and marked
by sudden spasms of my hands, as if they were clutching patchcords...

I would have hauled it back last weekend, but it was so damned hot and muggy
here--didn't want to sweat all over the plastic handles and risk dropping
them.

Of course, this weekend should be more of the same, but I'm so lost without
my gear I'm going to have to suck it up and haul it back.

BTW--for those who aren't on AH ('cause I don't think I announced it here,
and if I did, mea culpa!), you can hear a 16-minute excerpt of my live,
birthday set at http://www.mp3.com/baldbastard. The name of the "track" is
"Happy Birthday, Bastard!" It's techno-ish stuff. You'll definitely hear the
ring modulator, then some frequency modulation using a couple of 420 filters
and the 300 oscillator. There was some other modular fun in other parts of
the set as well (but not in this excerpt).

Later,

David.

Dave, I have been trying to send you mail. The trouble is on your end. It
is all coming back

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
