I have the Klein book. I find it very informative and I am using it
currently to convert the effects board from the inside of a Korg poly-six to
a stand alone unit. I am not sure if I can do it, but I have been using the
BBD circuits in the book to get a better idea of how the effects pcb is
layed out. I will have to replace capacitors and the like but it looks
possible so far. I need the service manual to the poly-six, anybody have one
by chance?

I am also using the CEM3320 low-pass circuit from this book to build out a
MOTM style module that is almost identical to the 440 in appearance but
without the enhance switch and of course a different sound. You should buy
one of these $10 filters from Paul and build a module. It is a simple DIY
job and will yeild fun results with MOTM quality!

I plan to build the CEM3310 VCADSR circuit after that. I also have Klein's
CEM/SSM book of data sheets and extra curtis user guides. Very good info
about the CEM3310 especially! If you build your circuit to MOTM specs and
use a 900 power suplly there is no reason the be afraid of using this chip.
Big focus is making sure you add bypass caps to all of the power leads on
IC's. Just ask Paul.

I have read the Thomas Henry book and found it quite good as well. I guess
all of the books on this DIY/Synth subject with new "to me" information will
be good.

I am looking for circuits designed using the CEM3379 or 3389 if anybody has
them laying around. Thanks for listening to the rant!
