Speaking of book auctions, I have one book I'd like to auction here.  It is 
Allen Strange, Electronic Music--Systems, Techniques, and Controls, 2nd 
Edition, large paperback, WC Brown Publishers, 1983, 6th printing, 274 
pages.  The condition is used, with about 1/8" of curling in the corners, 
and minor scuffing of the cover.  The prior owner has also highlighted 
passages in pink and yellow in about 25 of the pages, and the owner's name 
is scratched out on the title page.  The title page is also loose, but I 
plan to glue it back down for you.  There you have it, let the bidding 
begin.  I will keep bidders appraised of the going price, and close the 
auction in a week, Sunday June 18, midnight PST, announcing the winner the 
following Monday.  Bidders bid to me directly at mach25@... and don't 
send it to the MOTM list, which should not be cluttered by this.  Thanks.
