MS-10 Trim Pots

2000-06-08 by Tkacs, Ken

I have the MS-10 Service Manual. I'll throw it into my briefcase tonight;
Email me privately tomorrow and remind me about it--I'll scan it and send it
to you. It's about 10-12 pages. The calibration procedure is 2 pages long.

Subject: [motm] i'm back..?

anyway, i was going to wax lyrical about the MOTM driven gig i did last
week (but i couldn't be bothered now) - the main question was, does
anyone know which trimpots do what on the front of a Korg MS10, as i'm
sure someone has messed mine up. I tried Korg UK and the Synthesiser
Service Centre, but neither have any concrete idea

What Email program are you using? The "Reply-To" address is usually right next to the person's name.
i use nasty old Outlook in Win 98 - i seem to remember it'd only let me reply to the group - i was rushing though for a "ghost" rehersal (ie one that only you turn up to) and so didn't really have time to look
anyway, many many thanks for taking the time to scan the MS10 info - even the blank scan (i printed it out just the same...)
i thought it would be easy to re-calibrate until it seemed that pots 1-4 did exactly the same thing - now it's oh so clear...
cheers
