For those of you wondering exactly what an SKB Pop-Up Mixer case is, and why
MOTM lovers like them, see Joe Pavone's setup at the MOTM home page!

Spend hours wondering where the power supply is! And you can order them from
zZounds off the link
on the main page. Which gets me a tiny income to pay for the website.

I seem to be one of the minority (at least on this list) in using these,
but I'll swear by the mixer cases as an efficient way to store MOTM,
especially if you're ever planning on removing your system (or part of your
system) from your studio. I love 'em, since I play out and sometimes
attend jam sessions at different locations.

And (shameless plug warning!), if anyone in the Bay Area wants to see a SKB
mixer case chock-full of MOTM being used on stage, I'll be performing at
the Port Lite in Oakland on saturday night (tomorrow). (caveat: I'll be
playing in two bands, both of which are loud rock; the first is pop-punk in
which I play bass with minimal electronics content [not zero content, but
zero MOTM], but the second will be playing Hawkwind covers and my rig will
consist of Prophet 600 + Korg MS-20 +
MOTM-100,110,120,300(x2),320,420,440,800,900.)

>Spend hours wondering where the power supply is!

mmm ... that's the other thing I gotta do - put together a custom power
supply for the mixer case to free up 3 spaces where the 900 would've been,
for live work ...
