YES! Use a home-made "special interface cable". Put a 1/8" plug on one end, and on the other end get 2ea 1K resistors (any value from 1K to 4.7K will work, as long as they are the same). Put resistor #1 in series with the inner conductor and the tip of the 1/4" plug. Put resistor #2 from the tip to ground. This makes a simple 2:1 divider. And it all fits inside the plug casing.
