It's not proofed or 100% correct, but if you have a *good* printer or Ghostscript, then here is what you are in store for on the MOTM-420 filter. Front panels ordered today. PCB going out by Friday of next week. Paul S.

PS = PostScript If you don't have a PS printer to print it to, then go to your favorite search engine and look for GhostScript. A wonderful little program that opens PS files and prints out on about 25 popular printers. W95/98. Paul S. PS: look for the exploding capacitor on the schematic! -----Original Message----- From: J. Hi Larry: Try ftp://ftp.cs.wisc.edu/pub/ghost/ Exploding cap? It has to be one of the PSU bypass caps (C 16 to be exact) -- experience has led me to this conclusion. John B. In a message dated 5/15/99 5:26:20 PM, synth1@... writes:

I will go look for ghostscript. > PS: look for the exploding capacitor on the schematic! I'm guessing, but would that be an electrolytic placed in with the wrong polarity. <g> Larry H

Thanks again for the schematic! It is especially nice to see how you've implemented the negative to positive going attenuator for the CV input. I've been using this circuit (and slight modifications of it) since a friend shared it with me about 15 years ago. I've tried to give it to a few other people on the DIY list who haven't seen why it's so good -- now I can say the "OFFICIAL MOTM negative to positive attenuator, approved by Paul S." Maybe now they'll listen! John B.
