I used to have the Maestro version of this same pedal.  Still have the 
schematic for it.  A very mediocre envelope follower/filter effect (not even 
close to a Mutron-III) and a totally useless but fun S/H filter effect.  When 
I owned it I was 13 and it was very cool!

The ring modulator was one of the coolest Maestro (Oberheim designed and they 
had their own version too) "pedals" around.  Lots of ins and outs for the 
time.  I have the schematic for one of these; always thought about building 
one, but never did.  And I have a Blacet and MOTM ring mod now anyway!
