Interesting programming trick

Last night I discovered a cute trick. Set a filter to high resonance, and sweep it downward with an envelope, instant attack, decay kind of slow. Typical cliche patch. Now patch a 320 Saw output to another FM input, set the 320 Shape full left, and play with the speed of the sweep and envelope decay, and the 2 FM amounts, until you get a downward "stepping" instead of sweeping.
