Definitely looks like a possibility, do these strips also measure
position (like a ribbon controller) or only force? I couldn't find any
specs on distance vs. resistance. -Nate

I was trying to figure out exactly the same thing.... will ask their tech 
people.

Just got off the phone with Interlink; nope, the strip doesn't sense 
position.  They used to make something like this, and would be glad to do it 
again if the quantities were right.  Unfortunately I don't think any of us 
could justify it. 

I wonder what Kurzweil is using in the Expressionmate...

Oh, I could justify it all right! I just couldn't pay for the thousand or so 
units they'd want to sell me -- but justify it? I could do that!
