I thought maybe they had something new, but it still looks like the same unit 
I was thinking about.  If it has eight channels (analog?), they are split up 
into a random array of inputs/outputs, such as mic, line, auxilary, insert.  
If you need eight simultaneous channels you better confirm that it can run 
all of those at once.

The Solo EX8 combines the Solos with an extra unit that houses the eight
ins/outs.
They are available simultaneously.
