Here's a picture of my Paia-based Theremin before final assembly and wiring
(for clarity). The antennae were made from copper bus bar (got a nice loop
for the volume antenna by pulling it around a metal column in my basement).
I made it so that the antennae could be removed with a wing nut for
transport. You can see that I followed all of the suggestions, including a
piece of sheet metal under the spacers holding up the PCB.

The front panel has an extra rotary switch that isn't wired to anything at
this point-I was going to play with the different coupling "gimmick"
suggestions and put them on the rotary so that I could switch between them.

I'm very bummed that this thing wont make a peep. Not even hum.
