Thank you David for the great synopsis of the FR-777; they should post it on

I e-mailed Future Retro today about the sequencer, and here is the response 
from Jered Flickinger:

"Yes, we are going to release a rack version of the 777's sequencer with a 
couple
additional features. We plan on releasing it in the next couple months, more

coming."

Hmmm.... mystery features.  I'm going to order a 777 anyway, with the theory 
that I will probably want to get the sequencer as well.  The 777 plus the 
sequencer controlling my Waldorf Pulse (or possibly the SidStation) is pretty 
intriguing.
