Interpolating Scanner

This interpolating scanner sounds very cool! Perhaps a different name is
needed, like Sequencing VC Mixer or something similar. It took me a bit of
reading before I realized just what it does. I certainly could make use of
such a module.

To restate what Jaible says:

1. If you don't plug in any inputs, the jacks are all normalled to DC
voltages, and you get a DC output contoured to the pot levels as you sweep.

2. Plug in audio inputs and sweep. Hmmm, pseudo analog granular synthesis?

OK. I added the scanner to the "wish" list section of "the list." I would
like to see one too. There were a few other updates I have put in over the
last week. Text version attached. Remember, Paul asked that this list not
be circulated outside of those subscribed to this list.

dave,
gee, i haven`t heard this mentioned in a long time! next thing i know, we`ll
be putting up music 4bf on our pc`s!!!! ( actually, not a bad idea......plus,
i love the contrast of extremes, analog modular and all software non-realtime
synthesis ).
best,

What are the odds of this device ever becoming an MOTM module...?

Something like this ? http://www.synthfool.com/diy/jh_ipscan.html (scroll
down to "piecewise linear VC waveshaper) Apart from the transitions being
linear segments rather than "sinusoidal" ones, this should offer much of
what you're looking for, and maybe a little more. Like changing each of the
breakpoints witch CV's.
