I’ll chime in now then :-) I’ve been racking my brains, but I’m sure there’s a guy on Muffs who made his own Not the full 990, but (if memory serves) it was a combination of power headers, including, I think some 6 pin MTA156 - i think… Fairly certain he’s in Germany, and thought it was LED-Man - but I’m wrong unless he’s changed his Muff signature Whomever this chap is, his Muff signature mentions he has distro PCBs for sale Hope that helps - sorry for being cryptic :-) Nice to give the MOTM list a dusting off everynowandagain… Cheers Paul Sunny Sheffield > On 4 Jun 2016, at 19:20, George Kisslak groovyshaman@... You are right - I have one. It's not LED MAN either, although he does to very good bespoke MOTM power solutions.

Thanks for responding George and Paul! J Yes, the list is so dead and empty I wasn’t even sure I’d hear an echo! ;-) Thanks for the reminded of the guy on Muff’s who made some. I remember the thread but can’t find it now. The good news is that a friend contacted me directly after seeing my post to this list and thinks he has one or more original MOTM distro boards in storage and is going to look for them. Hi John, As I’ve suggested before, someone should (re)design this PC board and put it up on OSH Park so that anyone can order the PCB and solder on the connectors themselves. The simplest solution would be for Paul to provide his Gerber files, since—in my understanding—neither he nor anyone else has any commercial stake in this item. Failing that, I could probably be talked into doing the design, if there were sufficient interest. Note that the minimum order from OSH Park is three boards, so some sort of group buy might be useful. That would have to be up to someone else, though. So, there are several questions: 1) what, exactly, do people want? A clone of the 990? If so, what are the specs? I can deduce a fair amount from the photo here http://synthtech.com/motm/accessories/ but I’d need to know a part number for those screw terminal blocks and the specs for the caps. 2) How many people want one? --Adam

Thanks for your thoughts, Adam! J I think Synthcube is the current IP holder (or whatever) for all the MOTM stuff. I wrote them first and they responded “we have 900, 950 and 960.... No 990 yet” so it sounds like they may make some at some point but, I’m betting the demand for that board is very low. Since so few MOTM modules were ever produced that need +5v, I would think a redesign of the 990 might be good where there are only 2 or 3 six pin MTA-156 connectors and the rest of the positions split between six pin MTA-100 and 4 pin MTA-156? Anyways, all of my cases except 1 have MOTM distribution boards and I want to keep things consistent if I can, for better or worse. I have many six pin MTA-156 to six pin MTA-100 cables I’ve made to power all the modules I have with DotCom power headers. J John

Ken Stone's .156" power distrib boards support the 6 pin config (no bypass caps or anything). now distributed by Elby i believe
