Update/Garage Sale coming
2011-05-08 by Paul Schreiber
As previously noted, I will be moving in June to a smaller home. Just to make things more interesting: a) my son graduates high school May 29th, plus has prom and various other activities b) day job has isued "all hands on deck" fire drill for this week (last week I was on just a 'normal' fire drill). You know, one of these 8AM-8PM things. So, please be patient until the end of June. My MOTM time is *extremely limited* until I physically move. I will be packing up all my electronics stuff around ~ June 1-5. It will take al *least* 10 days to unpack and set it all up and remember where the hell are my USB cables, etc. There may be *days* where I cannot or won't have energy for emails/updates/where's my stuff/etc. I have to change ISPs, move from DSL to fiber, blah blah blah. The *website* is unaffected by the move, however (it's in Flordia. Supposedly. Sigh.....) b) I am starting this week to prepare for the on-line Garage Sale. The sale will be starting Sun May 15th. I will be selling all loads of stuff, from my entire (OK...95%) synth literature collection (piecemeal), several synths (P5 R3.3, D-550, others). I have a prototype Larry Hendry 2-row slanted synth case with flat rails. I have textbooks, parts, and stereo equipment. The heavy/big stuff will be US, Fed-Ex Ground shipped only. I will adjust the weight to that if you select regular Priority Mail, the *cost* will be correct for Ground (or close enough no whining). It may not all be there on that day, but I am setting aside 1hr/day for getting ready (scanning, photos, looking on eBay for priceing guidelines, etc). Yes, there are MOTM odds & ends as well (unboxed Power One supplies, MOTM-110 blank boards (??!?), etc). Speaking of power supplies, I have 12 new-in-box Elpac +-12, +5V small 'table top' supplies that I paid $89 each about 8 years ago that I'm selling for $9ea. It's going to be crazy until the end of June. Don't get your panties in a wad, I will *still* ship as time allows, what I can get out without spending 8-10 hours for 1 order. Paul S.
