Does the 995 adapter board *replace* the connector board that comes with the MOTM 950 PSU, or does it *augment" it?

Does not replace it, it's too big. Rather, it's like an extension outlet. If 
you connect the 2 with a PWR-6-20 then you get additional MOTM connectors 
*and* 3 added .com connectors.

It is for expansion and adaptation. Mainly intended to power several MOTM
modules from a DotCom supply but also for powering up to three DotCom
modules from a MOTM supply.  I think . .  ;-)
