wiring 101 question

2009-07-18 by patchdub1972

hi folks.

so i am wiring the 101 right now and just realized there is a special coax for the s&h in jack. i don't have this cable, will some combination of rg-174 and hook up wire work instead?

thanks

Yes, I think that would work just fine. I don't think you need the hookup
wire do you? Just a piece of the rg-174. (the rg-174 you have is coax isn't
it?)

Best of luck!

Sure, run the RG-174 from pin 2 and 3 of the pc board to the top terminal
and ground terminal of the jack. This connects the pink noise to the
switching side of the jack. Then run a discrete wire from pin 1 of the pc
board to the input side of the jack.
