How deep should a case for MOTM modules be?

How deep should a case for MOTM modules be?

2009-03-16 by Argitoth

Hey, since Paul is on spring vacation I hope the MOTM group doesn't
mind me asking this here. I'm going to create my own case, how deep
should the case be?

I built a 12" cabinet and I'm happy with it. Here are plans for a case
I built:

Depth is good enough that I can have power supplies behind the
modules. Beware if you're going to build any non-MOTM modules
(Catgirl, Yusynth, etc.) that these are deeper than MOTM modules.

Mine are 10" deep. I wouldn't go any shallower than that. Non-MOTM
modules can be much deeper than official MOTM modules. I still have
enough room to put power modules in the back, but just.

Double Ditto. My cabs are 10" deep too. I'm using the same ones Richard
Brewster uses in his mobile rig. I have a combination of 12U tall and 10U
tall cabinets:

Great prices and great people to deal with there!
