Hello from a new enthusiast!

Hi everybody!

I just finished building my first power supply and 420 VCF. What a treat to
finally be able to build what I have looked at and studied online for so
long! Obviously you can all imagine I couldn't be happier with the quality of
the kits, but the real joy is the sonic performance! I have several of the
Moog-mans Big Briar Mooger Foogers and the quality of Paul's filter (even
though a different tone character) is at least equal if not better for almost
half the cost. Very satisfying my new friends.

I have yet to build out my 300 VCO, 320 LFO and 110 VCA but I can already
assume that these will be equally amazing in quality and sound. As you can
probably tell, I am already addicted to MOTM like the rest of you. My plans
for future synth stuff in my home setup has drastically changed. I mean why
not? I'm fairly confident that none of us have anything wrong with ending up
with one of the toughest synths ever put on the block! Wow again and that'll
be it until I finish my other kits.

Can anybody give me a list of all of the modules that have been mentioned or
considered for future release. It is taking me much longer to go throught the
one-list than anticipated. I know of the uVCO, pre-amp, envelope follower, and
mixer. My want list would include a phaser, single unit VCA, and as many of the
classic analog filters we all love that can be duplicated. Thanks everybody, it's
to finally be here!

welcome dj thomas (and hello everyone else...)

to save having to tart around in the onelist archive (most tedious), here's
a summarised list of forthcoming modules that Paul S posted last month:

> #440 LPF - $179 kit - shipping mid Feb..?
> #??? VCLag - $125 kit - ready after xmas (MOTM 830..?)
> #??? VC Phaser ? April. About $289 kit: it has a boatload of parts!
> #??? Triple Pre-Amp ?
> #??? Mixer ? - Preamp/mixer/env follower follow after the '440 & VC lag.
Feb-March.
> #??? Sequencer ? - August.
> #??? Micro VCO ? - April/May. Since this is a simpler module, may come
before the phaser.

meanwhile - has anyone got hold of that Line 6 delay emulator, and is it as
good as it looks..?
i really feel i need it...

cheers

Welcome dj from Stooge Moe here! A couple of additions to the current known
module list as mentioned below:

1. The 440 filter which is the next scheduled release is a discrete version
of the early Prophet 5 SSM 2040 filters, with added VC resonance. If you've
been on the list more than a few days you probably already know that.

2. Also mentioned as a candidate for release has been a VC clock divider.

Some other filters I'm sure Paul will get around to because they have been
talked about a lot on this list are the Oberheim Xpander 15 mode filter, and
the Oberheim SEM filter. A VC ADSR with VC delay will show up one of these
days. Also a single unit wide reversible attenuator module with extra power
supply distribution panel on the back.

What else am I leaving out? Some of the wilder and more speculative talk
includes a polyphonic string synthesizer engine module, a Sheppard function
generator, quadrature oscillators, wavetable oscillators, through-zero FM
oscillators, formant filters, programmable quantizers, etc..........

... and a 42-band mega-vocoder in a spring-reverb laden tree!

Moog type ladder VCF -- with the full compliment of "Barlow" features (I
hope).
