Celine Dion tickets for wife's 50th birthday. If the concert is 2 hours 
long, I just paid (with fees and parking) around $5.70 a *minute* for the 
experience.

So, save up your pennies, and help me justify the purchase.

Saw her in Vegas as "O" was sold out and we were just itching to buy 
tickets to *something*. I don't know what the current touring show is 
like like, but...

1. The show in Vegas had the best live sound I've ever heard anywhere, 
bar none.

2. The musicians playing behind her (when you could see them) are world 
class.

3. The Vegas stage had largest LED indoor screen in the world as a 
backdrop. Believe me, this was *DAMN* cool - talk about a great way to 
change sets!

4. Wife and I are friends with Mia Michaels, who choreographed the Vegas 
show. This was not your average what you'd expect type Vegas dancing - 
this was full on concert contemporary/modern using dancers with resumes 
you wouldn't believe.

5. An aside - the dancers *HATED* Mia Michaels as she was such a PITA 
during rehearsals ...  and they made no bones telling us about it after 
the show.

6. Impeccable direction by Franco Dragone - formally of Cirque du Soleil.


Even if you don't like Celine that much - if her touring show even half 
way approaches the Vegas show, it's a fine spectacle to see!

Guess you need to sell some more modules to help pay for those tickets, huh?
