Looking for stuff...

Looking for stuff...

Anyone have a couple sets of rack rails they're not using?

Also, still on the lookout for some Stooge rack end caps.

Shoot me an email offlist...

Thanks!

I need (or at least want badly) some rack end caps too! At least 4 pairs . .
maybe another two later next year.

Maybe we should all descend on BrideChamber and hold a "sit in" until they
make a batch? ;-)

A sit-in, LOL! (A *virtual* sit-in?) Seriously, though, if you don't
know a local machinist, how about using emachineshop.com? The end
caps are really simple.

Maybe Paul will see enough demand to have his metal shop make them.

I don't even remember what they are, but after I set up my racks
frames I'll probably realize that I need 3 sets of them, myself!

Come on, together everybody! What do we want? END CAPS!!!!! When do we want
them? NOW!!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

Yeah, the metal part isn't too tough but I'm not sure how to get the finish
right and I don't really have a good place to do painting anyway. I've
considered having Front Panel Express make some but it wouldn't be the same
finish (probably look OK though). I've also considered making some out of
Black Walnut or Cherry and staining them so I can have at least a touch of
beautiful wood in my industrial looking road cases but . . . I'm not sure on
that either . . . (I might talk to the folks at Synthwood.com to get them
made . . .)

Feel free to sit in, chat and hold the baby, and I'll get some work
done. But don't make him smile -- those smiles are just for Daddy!!!
