FS: MOTM-490 filter - $225

2008-10-11 by Eric Frampton

Has the resonance resistor swap already done. Will include the documentation and an MOTM power cable. Built by me.
$225 including shipping within the U.S.

(I'm also selling a Korg OASYS PCI card, a ProCo speaker switch, an Akai ProFilter board for S2800/S3000/S2000/ S3000XL/ CD3000XL samplers, and a Calzone keyboard case. Email me for info.)

What is the “resonance resistor swap”?

Thanks!

Since no-one else has responded, I will. There's a mod in the original docs that gives the resonance pot a little more travel before it goes into self oscillation. The default setting has self oscillation starting at about 12 oclock - doing the mod moves it to about 2 or 3.

Sorry I didn't get to John's question earlier - I've been off the radar for a couple of days. Yes, that's the mod I was talking about in my original post.
The module is still available, btw... :-)
