i bought one of the early 485 kits that came with the quick building
guide.  i'm just now getting around to testing it out and i'm finding
that there is no section on how to calibrate the CV Offset or the Q
Peak.  nor is there and explanation on what the F/H switch does.

F/H is for "Full or Half tracking". In "Full" mode the filter tracks 
at 1V/Oct. Half is 2V/Octave. It's part of emulating a GX-1 filter -- 
though a GX-1 has 2 of these per voice!

I finally built my own 485 kit. It's making a kind of whining noise, 
so it's rather unusable. I haven't tried to debug it, yet. Perhaps I 
need the calibration docs, too.
