MOTM

a) I have had *4* different front panel suppliers over the years. So there are bound to be differences.
b) I have never changed the font. It is called Alternate Gothic 2. Same as the Moog modular.
c) the paint issue will be going away eventually because all the new modules going forward (except the first 40 or so Cloud Generators) will have the 
new paint.
d) some of the new modules will have different knobs. I suppose in a fit of pique one could yank them off and replace them, but I have no idea if PKES 
types will fit. The encoders are a short 'D' shaft, for example. The '730 VC Divider uses 2 knobs from the Frac series.

I mean, really! Is *very* piece of gear you own exactly the same? Even from the same manufacturer? 

The jacks on the '650 are *completely different* in every way from any other MOTM gear, so what?

Courageous but doomed attempt at attacking neurosis with rational
arguments. :-)

The day John Blacet runs out of wacky fonts and has to recycle
one, we'll hear Blacet aficionados crying out "Wait a minute,
that's the same font as the VP2969 VC Percolator ! Can't have that !
I need a uniform system !"
