Poll already over, we have a winner!

Wow that was quick...I didn't even see the poll...

I do like this design, although I am a sucker for blue Led's etc, so the blue style would have
been my favorite. Will you be offering upgrades for the Midi/CV module to use a similar style
at a later date?

So do sheep. ;)

At least it shouldn't be too difficult to purchase and install a blue LCD
that's more to my liking.

I haven't really thought about offering different MOTM-650 LCD modules (it
is also a CrystalFontz).

It's not that hard to "swap out" the same basic footprint, there are 14
connections to unsolder on a 2 x 7 header,
and 2 wires for powering the backlight. Takes ~ 20min.

If the MOTM-650 midi CV is anything to go by, the displays are good quality and will last
pretty well.. Mine has a fair few running hours under the hood, and so far all is well :-)

The P3 displays are/were PLED. Not sure what the problem was, but lots of failures out there.

I have seen 1 failure in ~ 120 displays.

I hope these Crystalfontz displays are more reliable than the ones used for the P3 sequencer. Lots of failures with those.
