There's a few photos that I like so I spiced up my web page with a photo album. Somewhat on topic as half is MOTM (and the other half a timeless classic). Dave http://modularsynthesis.com/photos/photos.htm

What's to the right of the 650 with the legend at the top in the top cabinet photo? And at the far left, is that a miniwave? -- Monty Brandenberg

The main web page details all the modules in order. The module to the right of the 650 is a Roland Sound Canvas. The legend at the top is actually for the next module to the right which is a PAiA MIDI2CV as I can never remember all the outputs. I generally run the Sound Canvas from either my PSIM or my ComputerVoltageSource module. I use the PAiA MIDI2CV in CC mode for the PSIM or ComputerVoltageSource module when I need 8 extra analog outputs. Using this along my I2C expansion gives me 24/32 analog inputs and 16 analog outputs. On the very upper left are my Tape Interface modules that connect to the Otari MX-5050 for delays and echoes. To the right of those, one module over, is a MiniWave with the LEDs across the top. The MiniWave has the Hylander expansion and the Tellun/Stooge CV control but only 5 ROMs. I've got to fill it up one of these days. Dave --- In motm@yahoogroups.com, "mcb, inc." <mcbinc@...> wrote:

Dang, that is one clean B3 ("The Classic"). However, I seem to recall
my Hammond having two 122 Leslies attached. <grin> Wish I still had it.
MOTM rig is looking terrific as well.
BTW, what the heck is that thing with the two reels on it? ;=P

I added one more image tonight which is a 11 sequence GIF animation of my modular evolution over the past 5 years. The first two photos are kind of humorous as I originally thought I could fit everything into a 20U rack. Then came the 10U expansion, then the three tier cabinet, then came back the 20U rack, then the 10U expansion ... --- In motm@yahoogroups.com, "djbrow54" <davebr@...> wrote:

This is scary because I know it will happen to me and
everyone here.

There is a drawing of the rack cabinet on my site. http://modularsynthesis.com/cabinet/DJB_rack_cabinet.pdf It's a slant cabinet and the outside depth is 9" at the top and 11" at the bottom. The expansion cabinet that sits on top is 9" deep. There is a 0.25" back and the modules are set in 0.5" from the front so the internal depth is 8.25" at the top and 10.25" at the bottom. The MOTM-900 power supply mounts in the rear so I have less depth in the lower right 2U. Below the MOTM rails is 2U of standard rack space. Below that is a 1U blank panel with a master power switch. This part of the rack is unusable because of the slant. The rear is closed except for the bottom 2U so I can access the standard rack gear. Ah, the unplanned expansion cabinets. It happened to me. I started out planning two dot com cabinet conversions, 52U total. Then I added a third. After that I realized I had to add the big slant cabinet. Now I have 130U total (5 x 26U). Alas, it is now full... FULL! I complete the "last" module this past weekend. I haven't taken a photo yet of the completely filled cabinet. But this is close: http://www.pugix.com/ And thanks to Dave Brown, who stimulated some of my panel designs. If my building phase isn't over, it's at least on hold for a while now. -Richard Brewster michael stein wrote:
