Patch idea using MOTM-101

The track mode on the MOTM-101 sample and hold contains some unique capabilities. Consider: Connect a pulse output from an LFO having variable pulse width (such as the MOTM-320) to the 101's external clock input. Choose something interesting for the S&H source; I recommend either the internal white noise or an external audio source. Take the output to a VCO or the CV input of a VCF (in my experiment, I took it to the cutoff CV of a Synthacon filter, and routed the 101's pink noise to the filter's bandpass input). Vary the LFO speed and pulse width. As you do so, you get a crazy pattern of alternating chaos and constant tones. The pattern changes as you change the LFO pulse width. Add a bit of slew to taste.
