MOTM 2.0!

MOTM 2.0!

2007-02-03 by Alpha Ranger

I have a couple of observations/questions...

The MOTM-700 looks to be totally discontinued, except there is an
extra parts kit available for it. Is that correct?

The MOTM-380, MOTM-850 and MOTM-890 have also been totally
discontinued it seems. But all are still listed on the main MOTM
pages. This might confuse new customers.

I could not find the MOTM-600 listed any where for ordering. Is it available?

What is the status on the MOTM-450 and MOTM-520? What about other new
modules (module parts) under MOTM 2.0?

Quite a few of the descriptions on the order (catalog) page have been
truncated as indicated by ellipses. This is especially problematic
when extra parts are being listed out.

WaveWarpers are not available assembled. Is this correct?

3U blank panels are not available. Is this correct?

Are there any rack rail end caps left from the Stooge supply for sale?

Has it been made public who bought Larry's synth? If so, who was it?

The new paradigm is great IMHO.

peace out

I had more Exra Parts kits than pcbs/panels left over. Chances are, I will have
more boards/panels made in a month or so.
I will wait and see how things are going with the whole concept (so far, it's
been OK but let's see if it dies an early and horrible death).

I need to sell somewhere around 18 pc boards/panels/extra kits (all 3) in order
to *break even*, and before the sale last year, in the
previous 18 months I sold less than 10 of them. So, I am reluctant.

That will be corrected *tomorrow*. Today was 'honey-do' day and my son's 14th
birthday party.

No, I am going to move that and the Cloud Generator to another area of the site.

Click on the specific item and you will go the the actual page with all of the
text.

Not right now. Again, I have to decide if it is worth bringing back or not. It
was not a big seller, either.

I sold like 10 in 4 years. I do have some *unpainted* ones I will ship. Email
me.

I never made these. I can, but I don't have the CAD drawings/artwork.

Has not been made public, to my knowledge.

Paul,

For my part, I would be interested in 2 sets of 700 panels, pcbs and
extra parts kits. Unlikely to order a parts kit for the 700 without the
pcb though.

Just ordered a set (ep, pcb and panel) for the 510 and may get a second.

Re: [motm] MOTM 2.0!

2007-02-05 by Larry David

The 700 was always on my short list too and I would buy the DIY
version if available (so now we just need, what, 16 more people?
lol). FWIW, the timing of MOTM 2.0 looks to be coinciding with a job
change for me that should allow me to actually be an MOTM customer
again and not just a listmember. :-) I was thinking of selling my
few regular size modules and starting over with the Frac format
stuff, but if the DIY thing keeps going, I would much prefer that route.
