Has anyone successfully mounted the PRD Products Lens/Bezel from Digi-Key (#PRD360B-ND) in the TL-904 Stooge panel with the pre-cut square hole? Pressing the rear locking snaps into the bezel ends up bending the bezel as the snaps, in combination with the bezel, exceed the width of the cutout. Mine were quite tight too. I used a flat file along the inside edges of the bezel cutout to give it more room. About a millimeter on each edge was enough, IIRC. Wrap your panel up in a towel and be careful with the file so that it doesn't slip and scrap the panel. File from the backside to be extra safe.

It looks like it is meant to form a "pressure fit" inside the cutout, but the tabs really extend outside the area of the square cutout. A poor design, IMHO (bezel, not Veeblefetzer). I think I'll just cut the tabs and secure the rear locking posts with a bit of silicon sealer. I left off the lens. It's fine without it. http://www.pugix.com/top-cabinet.htm#veeblefetzer http://www.pugix.com/images/veeble_front.jpg Richard Brewster John Loffink wrote:
